Minsers has joined 1% for the Planet, pledging to donate 1% of annual sales to support nonprofit organisations focused on the environment.

Our planet is a vital cause for concern and Minsers firmly believe that every measure should be taken to protect it from further abuse. Reminisce to the last time you were on the beach. An afternoon with the sun warming you back and the sand between your toes. You stand on the cusp of the waves as they roll back and forth. Wouldn´t you like this bliss to last forever?

With global warming and other environmental issues threatening the planet, Minsers chooses to make a difference. This is why we have taken the initiative to collaborate with this worldwide nonprofit organisation, 1% for the Planet.

“Our member companies have donated more than $175 million to our environmental nonprofit partners to date. Currently, only 3% of total philanthropy goes to the environment and, only 3% of that comes from businesses. The planet needs bigger support than this, and our growing network of member businesses is doing its valuable part to increase giving and support on the ground outcomes. Our members lead with purpose and commitment, characteristics that consumers support. We’re excited to welcome Minsers to our global network,” says Kate Williams, CEO of 1% for the Planet.

As our goals and values align in making the planet more sustainable and the environment a safer place, we are very enthusiastic about this partnership and to be giving directly back to the planet.

Members of 1% for the Planet contribute one percent of annual sales directly to any of the approved nonprofit environmental organisations in the network. Nonprofits are approved based on referrals, track record and environmental focus. Thousands of nonprofits worldwide are currently approved.
